OUR POLICIES AND INFORMATION
RENT
You will not be invoiced. Rent is payable by mail or in person on your renewal date each month. Any rent not received within five (5) calendar days of your renewal date is subject to a late fee of $10.00. A $25.00 fee will be assessed on all returned checks. Rent is not prorated. The rental period is month-to-month.
Mail or deliver payments to: Affordable Mini-Storage, 1250 Lee Highway, Roanoke, Virginia 24019. We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express, and we can autobill your account monthly.
OFFICE HOURS:
Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Gate Hours: 7:00 am - 9:00 pm
INSURANCE
The items stored in your unit are NOT INSURED by Affordable Mini-Storage. The facility will not be held responsible in any way for damage or loss suffered. We strongly recommend that you insure your goods. We offer separate insurance policies in our office through a third-party company. Your homeowner's/renter's policy may offer coverage while you are storing your goods. Your unit must be locked. We sell locks in our office or you may provide your own. Our cut-lock fee is $25.00.
PROHIBITIONS
Guns, flammables (including gasoline, kerosene and propane), chemicals, cleaning supplies, explosives and poisons are prohibited storage items. No business may be conducted from the storage unit. Car/vehicle maintenance is prohibited. Cars are not to be stored inside units. We do provide outdoor storage.
PETS AND SMALL CHILDREN
Pets are not allowed on the property as insecticides are used on the property for pest control. For their safety, please keep small children under your close supervision at all times.
VACATING YOUR UNIT
Notify the office at least two weeks prior to vacating your storage unit and verify the final balance upon move-out. Make sure that the unit is broom swept and all trash is removed (you may use a broom from our office). The unit is to be left in rentable condition.
We offer a variety of moving supplies and boxes for sale in our office. Let us know if there is a particular item you would like.
GENERAL
